Meet Noah (desexed male) and Comet (female). Noah is a permanent foster as he would not eat hay or grass causing his teeth to overgrow and at 2 years old he has already had 3 dentals since being surrendered to us over a year ago.

Slowly, we have been able to get him to eat some grass and hay which will slow down how often he will require dentals and finally has gained some weight, 200gs, now weighing just over 900gs.

Comet (10 months old) was surrendered 4 months ago. She was in a tiny, filthy cage with 2 other females and had to be separated as they were fighting. She was very scared but since finding a friend in Noah, she has come a long way, although is still very timid.

Comet and Noah will live out their lives at the refuge receiving ongoing medical care and dental checks.

If you're not in a position to sponsor Comet and Noah, you are able to make a one-off donation to cover the ongoing costs of her care. If you would like to help Cocoa this way, you can donate via PayPal at qldguineapigrefuge@live.com, or direct deposit to bank account Qld Guinea Pig Refuge Inc; BSB 124-006; Account 2207 4473. Send us an email via our Contact Us page so we can issue you with a receipt.

All sponsorship and one-off donations over $2 are completely tax deductible.

If you'd like to sponsor Noah and Comet, please fill out the form below.
