Sweet, little Trinity was surrendered to us at Open Day on the 5th of May, 2018. Her owner brought her in to seek advice about an ongoing skin issue which turned out to be bacterial mange effecting her entire skin underneath her coat. During the time we were looking over Trinity we noticed her broken, hind leg. Her owner was unaware that Trinity had broken her leg but Trinity was obviously in large amounts of pain and required treatment as soon as possible. Trinity's owner decided to surrender her so that she could receive the vet treatment that she needs.
Trinity is undergoing vet treatment that will include treating her skin, x-rays for her broken leg and possible surgery depending on these results. At only 6 months old little Trinity is facing a long journey of recover ahead of her that will not only be hard for her until she begins to feel better, but also very costly. Once we know more about how Trinity is recovering and can see if her leg is going to cause ongoing medical issues or not we will find out if Trinity can eventually be rehomed or will need to stay at the refuge for ongoing medical care.
