Sponsor a medical needs guinea pigQld Guinea Pig Refuge often cares for many guinea pigs, that arrive into care with various painful medical conditions. Since we've opened QGPR has cared for guinea pigs with broken legs, bumblefoot, severe mange and dental disease, ovarian cysts, broken bones, kidney damage and so much more. These conditions can cost over a thousand dollars to completely treat, and treatment can last for the entire period of the guinea pigs life. Currently, QGPR is seeking sponsorship for several guinea pigs on medical foster care in order for them to be able to make a full recovery and experience a happy and healthy life.

Sponsor a male in need of desexingThe Refuge has a number of male guinea pigs in need of desexing so they can find their new best friends. You can help us with medical costs by sponsoring a male, or with a one-off donation. While desexing a male guinea pig costs in excess of $140, any amount is appreciated.
These males are not able to be paired with other males for a number of reasons, most often because they have been living with females and are aggressive towards other males. Having a girlfriend will make them much happier! If you are interested in sponsoring a male in need of desexing, please click here. |
